Each week on Same Name a celebrity including; David Hasselhoff, Mike Tyson, Reggie Bush and Kathy Griffin; will swap lives with a person who shares their exact same name. Here’s how it works… Our celebrity will fly to the home of their namesake, who will show the famous guest around before handing over his keys. The celebrity will move into his namesake’s house, take care of his kids, work his job, meet his friends. From working on a high-wattage transformer to changing diapers at 3 a.m., the celebrity will get a first-hand look at what life is like as a regular Joe. Meanwhile, our regular Joe heads to Hollywood to take over his Same Named celebrity’s life. From mansions and parties to VIP seating, he’ll take advantage of this newfound “fame.” But sometimes life in the fast lane has its own set of problems ... and dealing with agents, grueling workouts, and pushy reporters could have our regular Joe homesick in no time. For our celebrities, it’s a chance to escape their lives and walk a mile in another man’s shoes. For our regular Joes and Janes, it’s a rare opportunity to finally reap the benefits of a name that has been an annoying burden for most of their lives.

While the celebrity sees what it's like to provide medical care for the uninsured and less privileged, the reluctant civilian gains a new respect for what it takes to be a champion when he finds himself in the boxing ring. Through swapping lives and experiencing each other's friends and families, both Mike Tysons’ find out they aren't so different after all.

When former Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush switches places with a small town contractor by the same name, they’ll learn through each other’s lives to appreciate what they already have.
