Episodes

  1. Episode 1

    Spasticity

The day after Divya’s engagement party, HankMed seems to be back to business as usual. The only hitch? The man who puts the Hank in HankMed is MIA. As Boris and Divya try to track him down, Hank heads to New York City on his own search mission: to find Evan – who’s gone looking for their father and the missing HankMed money – and bring him home.

While Hank’s mission proves fruitless, Divya seems to have matters under control with new patient Spencer Fisher, aka Spencer the Spaz, a wildly successful infomercial salesman. But when Hank returns to the Hamptons, he and Divya find themselves repeated called to Spencer’s house to help their new patient out of a series of escalating medical crises. And Spencer’s not the only one in a precarious condition: with its finances in shambles, HankMed is on life support, and Jill is facing problems of her own at work, where complicated personal life has left the hospital board wondering about her decision-making skills.

With Spencer’s medical predicaments becoming increasingly life-threatening, Hank and Evan on the outs, and the company’s financial situation dire, the question is, will Hank, Evan and Divya be able to save Spencer the Spaz and HankMed?

  2. Episode 2

    Lovesick

The Lawson brothers have found themselves with an unexpected houseguest: their estranged father, Eddie R. Lawson. But just because deal old dad has come bearing a restitution check doesn’t mean Hank is ready to welcome him with open arms.

While Evan tries to bring his partner around, Hank focuses on a new patient: Blake Newberg, beloved stepdaughter of HankMed client Ms. “Newparts” Newberg. The pressure to keep up with her young, yoga-teaching boyfriend seems to be taking a toll on Blake’s health, and Hank is worried her heart may not be able to handle the stress.

And as it turns out, Blake’s affairs of the heart aren’t the only ones causing problems. Jill is having a yard sale to rid herself once and for all of her ex’s old junk and Divya is starting to worry about her compatibility with Raj. Even Hank’s newest patients, the Tanners, a couple with mysterious rashes, are coping with romantic strife.

As usual, it’s up to Hank to help his patients with their medical problems – and their personal ones. But with Eddie sticking around and things more complicated with Jill than ever, the question is: who’s helping Hank with his?

  3. Episode 3

    Keeping The Faith

When Hank comes to the rescue of an ailing stranger, he lands a huge new client – literally, the guy is enormous – an actor known for his performance as the “Trashman” in a gruesome series of films. Donald (aka the Trashman) has been experiencing some troubling symptoms, and enlists the help of the HankMed team to get to the bottom of the medical mystery.

While Hank and Divya attempt to diagnose Donald, Evan attempts to not get beaten to a pulp by him. It seems Donald’s sister-cum-manager Faith has her sights set on Evan and though he’s not usually one to turn away an attractive woman, he can’t help but feel threatened by Faith’s protective brother – not to mention Faith’s strange behavior. And Evan isn’t the only Lawson brother feeling threatened by Donald: though he and Jill have ended things, Hank is having trouble adjusting to the idea of Jill getting close to another man – especially if that man is a huge movie star whom Jill affectionately calls “Donnie.”

While Hank and Evan cope with their romantic complications, their father Eddie is creating some of his own: despite Hank’s wishes, Eddie is not only sticking around, but romancing HankMed client Mrs. Newberg. With Eddie causing tension at home, Donald’s condition worsening, and his sister beginning to show troubling symptoms of her own, it’s going to take all of Hank’s skills – and maybe a little faith – to keep things from ending in disaster.

  4. Episode 4

    Medusa

When Boris sends a jet to whisk Hank away to his “winter residence,” Hank is expecting a quick trip to Manhattan. Instead, he and Evan find themselves landing on a very different island: Cuba. A local geneticist named Dr. Casseras has diagnosed Boris, and, eager to participate in her new clinical trial, he has brought Hank to Cuba to evaluate and prepare him for the treatment. Hank urges his patient to exercise caution, but Boris and the beautiful Dr. Casseras – whose relationship, it appears, may be more than just professional – have other ideas.

With Hank occupied, Evan is forced to make his own fun; luckily, it’s a field he happens to be an expert in. He soon finds a scuba partner in a comely Canadian named Mindy, who is in Cuba vacationing with some friends. The two hit it off, but when Mindy’s friend has a medical crisis, it’s Hank whom she turns to for help.

Back at home; Divya is left to deal with Hank’s temporary replacement, an ambitious and abrasive young doctor Emily Peck. The two women clash over treatment styles, patient care, and … just about everything else. But with the Lawson brothers experiencing an unforeseen delay in their return to the Hamptons, Divya might not be rid of Dr. Peck quite as soon as she’d hoped.

  5. Episode 5

    Mano A Mano

As Hank waits for his missing brother to turn up, Evan comes face-to-face with the kidnappers who snatched him off the streets of Cuba. As it turns out, they grabbed the wrong Lawson brother. A believed-to-be-dead Cuban dissident named Marcos has had an accident and is need of a doctor – preferably one who can keep his mouth shut. Hank arrives and manages to save the day, but while treating his patient he makes an unsettling medical discovery… one that could potentially put everyone involved in harm’s way.

While Hank struggles to treat both Marcos and Boris, who is in the midst of undergoing a dangerous experimental treatment, Divya is once again forced to work with Dr. Peck. It doesn’t go any more smoothly the second time around, but does inspire Divya to develop her burgeoning friendship with Jill.

Relationships are less cozy in Cuba, where Dr. Casseras and Hank continue to clash. But with lives of both Boris and Marcos hanging in the balance, the two doctors will have to learn to work together, and they’ll have to do it immediately.

  6. Episode 6

    In Vino Veritas

Hank is summoned to a local winery by client Tucker Bryant, who has some concerns about his childhood friend, Oliver Ambrose. Oliver has been showing some odd symptoms and Tucker, all too familiar with the signs of substance abuse, is worried that his friend may be heading down that path. Hank isn’t so sure that’s the problem, but he does suspect that something – other than just being a teenager – is causing Oliver’s fatigue and erratic behavior.

At the launch party celebrating the Ambrose family’s new biodynamic wines, Hank tends to Tucker and Oliver while Evan – who, thanks to a little misunderstanding, has some concerns about Divya’s physical condition – sticks close to Divya. After discovering what might be the closest thing Evan has to a superpower, winemaker Kim enlists Evan’s help in tasting her product. But while observing Kim, Divya begins to fear that the headaches Kim has been attributing to stress could in fact be symptoms of something far more serious.

When a crisis occurs while Divya, Evan and Jill are at the hospital with Kim, Hank finds himself forced to think on his feet and accept help from a most unlikely source – his father, Eddie. But will the estranged duo be able to set aside their differences long enough to come to the aid of Hank’s ailing patients?

  7. Episode 7

    Comfort’s Overrated

It seems the Hamptons don’t agree with Queens transplant Jim ‘Mac” MacIntyre. Though locals – including Jill and Hank – are lining up for the chef’s addictive lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, Mac’s been having some bad luck since he and his orange food truck arrived in town: first he and his truck get sideswiped in a hit and run, and now he and his new wife are having marital issues. Hank and Divya soon find themselves landing square in the middle of those issues when Mac’s wife Donna calls them to treat her injured ankle. While tending to Donna, Hank and Divya can’t help but notice Mac’s increasingly odd behavior, and begin to worry that there’s something dangerous going on with this troubled couple.

As it turns our, Donna and Mac aren’t the only Hamptons residents facing both medical and relationship problems. Hank’s newest clients, young heiress Paige and her much-older boyfriend Graham, are also in need of help from the HankMed team. As Hank attempts to treat Graham’s mysterious vision problems, Evan gets drafted by Paige – who doesn’t want her parents to know the truth about Graham’s age – to act as her stand-in boyfriend.

While Evan undergoes his “faux beau” makeover and struggles with his growing feelings for Paige, Hank and Divya struggle to solve the mysteries behind their patients’ bizarre symptoms. Meanwhile Divya’s reemerging doubts about her future with Raj, Hank’s burgeoning relationship with Emily Peck, and a surprising business proposition from Jill could mean some new complications – and uncomfortable moments – for the HankMed team. But as Hank’s patient Graham would say, comfort’s overrated.

  8. Episode 8

    The Hankover

The sun rises over a beautiful beach; it’s another gorgeous day in the Hamptons. Except this morning, something’s a little different…

Back up 24 hours. Divya and Jill, dressed up in their ladies-who-lunch finest, are heading to Manhattan for a bridal tea in Divya’s honor. Afterwards, they decide to make the most of their time in the city and, with help from their well-informed cab driver, hit the town. But after a surprise call from her sister Saya, Divya learns the shocking truth about Saya’s arranged marriage, and once again begins to question her own.

Meanwhile, back in the Hamptons, Evan has his own doubts about Divya’s impending nuptials. He decides to find out more about Raj, who happens to be in town, by throwing him a bachelor party at Shadow Pond. The party quickly goes from a quiet evening with the guys to a full-fledged night of debauchery. When two of his patients – Michelle, whose dislocated shoulder Hank reset that morning, and Doug Keller, Hank’s grade school nemesis, who has been suffering from chronic sinus pain – turn up at the party, Hank isn’t exactly pleased. But he is happy to see one other surprise guest: Emily Peck, who takes a break from networking to show off her moves on the stripper pole and do some serious flirting with Hank.

As the sun begins to rise, the night of debauched celebration becomes a morning-after of medical crises. With Divya and Jill springing into action to save their friendly cabbie and Hank putting aside childhood grudges to treat an ailing Doug, the events of the night before soon become little more than a memory. Good thing there’s footage from a hidden camera to help them put together the pieces.

  9. Episode 9

    Frenemies

It turns out not all publicity is good publicity; Hamptons Heritage, led by Dr. Blair, is fighting Jill’s plan to have HankMed operate the new community clinic, and they’re starting with a hatchet job in the local paper. While Jill and the HankMed team consider how best to respond, they continue to go about their business: helping sick people. They start with a 7-year-old boy with some mysterious recurring symptoms, who just so happens to be the son of Dr. Blair. Unfortunately Jake’s unexplained illness isn’t the only problem the kid is facing; his recently separated parents are feuding, and it’s taking a toll on everyone – not least of all Jake.

As Paige and Evan’s faux-relationship continues, Evan faces complications of his own. In his efforts to please Paige and impress her father, Evan accidentally signs himself up for an earlymorning hunting expedition. There’s really only one way for Evan plus guns to end: badly. Still, the chemistry between Evan and Paige is undeniable. Could Evan’s fake relationship be turning into something real?

Meanwhile, in other Lawson brothers romantic news, Hank and Emily’s relationship is heating up. When Hank gets a frantic call from Jake, both doctors spring into action. But while they make a good team both in the bedroom and in the field, will their new relationship be able to handle the stress of competition? And how will the HankMed team react with the truth about their relationship comes out?

  10. Episode 10

    Whole Lotto Love

When good-hearted North Dakotans Ginnie and Roy win the lottery, they learn a valuable lesson: money can’t buy you love, or happiness, or even health – but it can buy you an enormous mansion in the Hamptons. But as they both start showing some strange symptoms, Roy begins to fear that they’re falling under the notorious lottery curse, and Hank has to do his best to soothe his new patients’ symptoms – and their irrational fears.

Meanwhile, Hank and Divya take on another new case, treating the stomach pains of a much-loved housekeeper named Tali. And just when it seems that she’s finally managed to dispel her doubts about her impending marriage to Raj, Divya finds herself undeniably drawn to Tali’s employer, stand-in son, and kidney donor, Adam.

Unfortunately, Divya isn’t the only one struggling with conflicting feelings. When Eddie shows up to celebrate Evan’s birthday – three days late – he plants the seed of doubt in Evan about his future with heiress Paige. And while Hank is glad that his father seems to have come through on Evan’s birthday, he still can’t help but be wary of Eddie’s true motives. The Shadow Pond letterhead he finds at Eddie’s house only affirms his fears that Eddie is up to no good, and though Hank well knows that Boris is a man not to be trifled with, his warnings to his father may be falling on deaf ears.

  11. Episode 11

    Big Whoop

It’s Evan vs. Emily Peck in the battle for the Hamptons concierge doctor internet dominance. When he discovers Emily’s online maneuvers to siphon off potential HankMed clients – and learns that his brother has been sleeping with the enemy – Evan enlists the help of his distracted father to come up with a strategy for retaliation.

Also spending way too much time strategizing about insignificant things is Stanley, a reclusive young process server with an abiding passion for war-simulation video games, who turns to the clinic when he finds himself for once facing a real threat to his health. He’s not the only one coming under fire: Dr. Blair and the hospital board have enlisted Stanley to serve Jill and the clinic with a cease and desist order. Jill manages to persuade Dr. Blair to back down by dropping Boris’s name, but her ultra-private anonymous donor doesn’t take kindly to losing his prized anonymity.

Equally ill-tempered is new HankMed client Dr. Harrison Phillips, a renowned retired surgeon who’s doing his best to prove the maxim that doctors make the worst patients. When Hank calls Emily in for a consultation, the two doctors find themselves at odds, and their patient’s condition grows increasingly threatening. But though tense, the experience of working with Dr. Peck does inspire Divya – who has been interviewing candidates to replace her when she leaves for London – to reconsider her position on Emily, and to come up with an idea that could potentially mean big changes for HankMed.

  12. Episode 12

Open Up Your Yenta Mouth and Say Ah

While enjoying his morning muffin, Hank is interrupted by AJ, a beautiful but spacey socialite with a taste for gossip and a habit of fainting at inopportune times. AJ, who enlists Hank’s help when her health begins to worse, seems to have a fascination with all things HankMed, but Hank’s only concern is figuring out what’s behind his new client’s strange symptoms. Something is just not adding up with AJ.

Meanwhile, Divya is reunited with a former patient, documentary filmmaker/kidney donor Adam, and the sparks are still flying. But her feelings for her patient are putting Divya’s professionalism – not to mention her relationship with Raj – to the test.

In other complicated relationship news, Boris’ romance with Marisa, his beautiful Cuban doctor, is taking a new turn; Marisa has finally arrived at Shadow Pond after her incarceration in Cuba, and while performing a post-prison check-up, Hank learns some very surprising – and very secret – news about Marisa.

But when it comes to keeping secrets, no one can beat Eddie R. Lawson. Is it his plan to move in with Mrs. Newberg that’s being setting him on edge lately? Maybe it’s the stress of getting his BlueSky venture off the ground? Or could it have something to do with the mysterious stranger Evan saw arguing with his father? Whatever the cause, there’s no doubt that Eddie is acting strangely. Hank can’t help but worry about his health, while Evan focuses his concern on his father’s finances. But when the Lawsons are summoned to Shadow Pond for a shocking announcement from Boris, the brothers discover that all their fears about their father may be justified.

  13. Episode 13

    Mulligan

After his heart attack, Eddie R. Lawson is rushed to Hamptons Heritage, where Hank and the hospital staff manage to stabilize him. Following his near-death experience, Eddie swears that he's a changed man, and vows to tell his sons the truth about what he's been up to. While Hank insists that his father first focus on getting better, that's not good enough for Evan, who decides to get to the bottom of things by paying a visit to Eddie's lawyer.

With Eddie recuperating in the hospital and Evan occupied elsewhere, it's back to business for the HankMed team, who are signed up to provide medical support at a local charity golf tournament. While Hank and Divya tend to the injured, Divya does her best to put her personal life back in order. Still grappling with her feelings after her kiss with Adam, she ignores his texts and calls, and makes plans to visit her fiancé Raj in London. But when Adam shows up at the golf course to talk to her, Divya has no choice but to face him - and her feelings.

As it turns out, the tournament is also bringing out a new side of Jill - the fiercely competitive side. Jill, who's matched up with could-have-been-a-contender Jack O'Malley, a journeyman player who botched his big chance at the Open, is determined to bring home the trophy. Hank can't help but notice the undeniable attraction between Jill and Jack, but it's another observation that has him more concerned: the painful, debilitating condition affecting Jack's hands. And just when it seems Hank has Jack's condition under control, Jill begins to show some very troubling symptoms of her own.

Will Divya finally manage to sort out her romantic life? Will the Lawson brothers manage to forgive their father? And will Hank be able to help Jack and Jill? Here's hoping. Because in life, unlike in golf, there are no mulligans…

  14. Episode 14

    Pit Stop

A new reality show called "Share House: The Hamptons," featuring fame-hungry twentysomethings cavorting drunkenly, is filming next door to Jill. There goes the neighborhood - and Jill's hopes of getting any sleep at night.

While coming to her aid, Hank witnesses an accident at the share house, and makes a dramatic aquatic rescue of one of the cast members. Soon he and Divya are paying another call to the house, where resident Craig is showing some strange symptoms. An embarrassing admission from Craig points the HankMed team in the right direction, but will they be able to get to the bottom of Craig's medical mystery in time to save him - and his housemates?

Meanwhile, all the television cameras are inspiring Evan with an idea: a Hank-centric reality show. Unfortunately for Evan, Hank doesn't have much - or, more accurately, any - interest in becoming a TV star. He's much too busy trying to heal his patients, including Marisa Casseras, whose reasons for keeping her pregnancy a secret from Boris are becoming increasingly clear to Hank. And Emily's return to the Hamptons also means that Hank has some thinking to do about the future of his relationship - and his company.
