Episodes

  1. Episode 1

    Strategic Planning

Now that Hank is a doctor on demand in the Hamptons, Evan wants a guerrilla-marketing plan to spread the word about “HankMed.” However, Hank soon realizes that the plan is more about Evan meeting women than establishing any viable contacts. When Hank gets a call to come to the aid of a senator’s son, that’s all the more reason not to be a part of Evan’s scheme. His medical service is marketing itself – or is it?

  2. Episode 2

    There Will Be Food

Tucker, Hank’s wealthy teenage hemophiliac client, and his girlfriend Libby invite Hank and Divya to a retirement party on a massive East Hampton estate. Naturally, Evan tags along for the free drinks. Despite their low expectations for fun, the party turns out to be anything but boring.

  3. Episode 3

    TB or Not TB

Hank and Divya are called in to one of the Hamptons’ hottest restaurants to give TB tests to the entire staff, per the new requirement by the health inspector. But the hard-working owner and head chef, Allison Moore, who has been burning it on both ends to get her new place established, may have a bigger health concern. She pulls Hank aside to confess that the recently experienced a strange “episode” during which her vision was temporarily blurred and she was disoriented. He speculates on what it could be but without tests, there’s not way to know for sure. Before he leaves, Hank manages to extract a less-than-convincing promise that she will show down at least long enough to have a complete physical and neurological exam as soon as possible. And when another episode occurs – this time a lot worse – he and his HankMed team are left with a three-hour window to get Allison the treatment she needs before the damage to her system is permanent.

  4. Episode 4

    No Man Is An Island

Evan barges in on a private moment between Hank and Jill to announce a new client, instantly killing the mood and derailing yet another date. At least the prospective clients are from old (and new) money and own a private island. The wife, Claire Grant, is due to give birth to her first child in three weeks, yet she insists on holding the annual family reunion with her sister on Grant’s Island, which is only accessible by helicopter. Claire agrees to a small concession to her concerned husband Rob by allowing Hank to come along as a precaution. But what Rob doesn’t know is that Claire is planning to give birth on her beloved family island – and she wants Hank to induce her labor.

  5. Episode 5

If I Were A Sick Man

The first – and painfully awkward – morning after between Hank and Jill is thankfully cut short when Hank receives an emergency call from Ms. “Newparts” Newberg. Her faithful housekeeper, Esperanza, has been sick for a week but Ms. Newberg needs her well before her bit party the next day. Hank determines that Esperanza has pneumonia and administers a treatment that should have Esperanza back on her feet soon – if she rests. But they all know that resting is not in Esperanza’s vocabulary or her boss’s for that matter.

  6. Episode 6

    Crazy Love

Jill is thrilled when her best friend Katie shows up at Shadow Pond unexpectedly. However, the reason for her visit is business not pleasure. Boris, whom Katie met through Jill at his Memorial Day Weekend party, has agreed to fund Katie’s medical research. That night, Boris calls Hank into the house to attend to an incident. Hank is shocked to discover that Katie has a shark bite. Boris claims it happened when Katie was swimming in the ocean but Hank’s not buying it. Despite Hank’s agreement to respect Boris’s privacy, Hank begins poking around looking for the truth. Evan fesses up that he knows that Boris is keeping a shark in his house. But that doesn’t answer the question why Katie was in that shark tank – or does it?

  7. Episode 7

    The Honeymoon’s Over

Just when the employees of HankMed think they have seen it all, they encounter the most bizarre case yet. Yesterday, Alan Rybar, a wealthy yet nebbishly thirty-something entrepreneur married his blushing bride Rachel, a gorgeous young swimsuit model, in their indoor tropical rain forest that was created specially for the occasion. Unfortunately, the newlyweds haven’t been able to start their honeymoon because Alan’s allergies have been acting up. Or, at least that’s what Alan wants his new wife to think. When he gets Divya alone, he confides that he has been having pain “down there,” which he thinks must be a kidney stone. What finally shows up on the X-ray stuns Divya so badly that she literally walks out on the patience without an explanation. How could she possibly tell her client that there’s a tiny fish stuck in his penis?

  8. Episode 8

It’s Like Jamais Vu All Over Again

Jill has asked Hank to volunteer his service at a swank Hamptons horse show that’s a fundraiser for her medical clinic, despite the fact that their relationship status is unclear. Divya, however, is not only taking the day off to compete, but also to put on her own show for her parents who have come to watch her ride. She’s hoping that through some fancy footwork – involving Evan and some tall tales – her parents won’t catch on that she has been lying to them about her secret life as a Physician’s Assistant. But when her father is stung by wasp and has a serious allergic reaction, hiding her training is no longer an option.

  9. Episode 9

    Am I Blue?

When Hank shows up to Tucker’s seventeenth birthday party, the surprise is on him. The party has been cancelled because Tucker’s dad, Marshall, is flying in to celebrate with his son. The only problem is that Marshall seems to have started celebrating way before he even arrived at the house. Tucker confides to Hank that he thinks his dad has a problem with drugs and alcohol and best Hank to get his dad into rehab. Fulfilling that birthday wish is easier said than done, since Marshall Bryant already thinks Hank interferes too much in his family’s business. But when Tucker is hurt rushing down the stairs, Hank has no choice but to stick his nose in once again.

  10. Episode 10

    Nobody’s Perfect

While Hank thinks that he has gone all the way to New York to help save Boris, it turns out Hank may need a little saving himself. Boris reveals that the Gardners are pressuring the state licensing board to revoke Hank’s credentials. Hank wants to handle the matter on his own but Boris isn’t about to butt out of Hank’s business, just like Hank hasn’t let the issue of Boris’s mysterious illness go. Boris puts his cadre of lawyers on the case despite Hank’s wishes because he has a vested interest in Hank keeping his medical license. Boris wants Hank to help him his potentially terminal genetic disease that killed his father and his grandfather. Hank agrees as long as there are no more secrets between them. Unfortunately for Hank, Boris isn’t exactly a tell-all kind of guy.

  11. Episode 11

    Wonderland

As Divya and Raj do a final walkthrough at the property where their impending engagement party is scheduled to take place, Divya notices that one of the Hill sisters, who own and run the historic mansion, is having hallucinations and a suspicious cough. Now he has to figure out why this somewhat eccentric but rather attractive young woman is suffering from these strange, possibly unrelated symptoms. Could it be the spirits of ancestors past?
