"Outsourced" is NBC's new workplace comedy series centered around a catalog-based company, Mid America Novelties, that sells American novelty goods, including whoopee cushions, foam fingers and wallets made of bacon, and whose call center has suddenly been outsourced to India.

Episode 1
Pilot
When manager Todd Dempsy (Ben Rappaport) returns to work after management training, he learns that the Mid America Novelties call center has been outsourced to Mumbai, India. In order to keep his job, Todd is left no choice but to relocate to India. There he meets his eclectic group of employees, and soon realizes that teaching them to understand America will be the first of many hurdles that he needs to overcome. Todd also discovers other foreign transplants working in his office building, including American expatriate Charlie Davies (Diedrich Bader, “The Drew Carey Show”) who runs the All American Hunter call center, and Tonya (Pippa Black, “Neighbours”) a beautiful Australian who runs the call center for Koala Air.

The Measure of A Manmeet
When Todd (Ben Rappaport) reluctantly begins employee evaluations, the staff becomes nervous about their job security. After Todd's boss Jerry (Matt Walsh) reviews the sales numbers, he tells Todd to fire one of his employees. Unwilling to lose a team member without a fight, Todd hatches a plan to save his staffer.

When Todd (Ben Rappaport) learns of Charlie’s (Diedrich Bader) feelings for Tonya (Pippa Black), he encourages him to ask her out. Hoping to ease the awkwardness, Todd organizes a group dinner, which benefits him when his secret crush agrees to go too. Unfortunately for Charlie and Todd, a fifth wheel tags along making dinner uncomfortable for everyone. Meanwhile, Madhuri (Anisha Nagaragin) finds her voice and in the process turns one of her coworkers into an unlikely ally.

Jolly Vindaloo Day
Exploiting Todd’s (Ben Rappaport) unfamiliarity with Indian holidays, Rajiv (Rizwan Manji) creates a fake holiday in order to get him out of the office. While Todd is gone, Rajiv receives a visit from his future father-in-law who he is trying to impress by pretending to be a manager. Meanwhile, the A-Team employees begin harassing Manmeet (Sacha Dhawan), Gupta (Parvesh Cheena) and Madhuri (Anisha Nagarajan), so they turn to the best source they know to plot their revenge.

Touched By An Anglo
When a box of risqué novelty items arrives at the call center, Todd (Ben Rappaport) notices that some of his staff members seem uncomfortable with the products. Concerned, Todd calls his boss Jerry (Matt Walsh) and learns that he was supposed to have given his employees a sexual harassment seminar upon his arrival. The next morning, Todd learns that an employee has already filed a complaint and when he tries to fix the problem he only makes matters worse.

TREAT—Excited about Halloween, Todd (Ben Rappaport) tries to get the office in the holiday spirit, but his co-workers have no idea what Halloween is all about. After a series of Halloween pranks and an attempt to explain why people dress up, Todd decides to throw a costume party. Taking advantage of the social setting, Todd tries to get closer to Asha (Rebecca Hazlewood), but the plan backfires when Tonya (Pippa Black) makes a pass at Todd.

When Asha (Rebecca Hazlewood) begins taking the next step toward her arranged marriage, Todd (Ben Rappaport) and Manmeet (Sacha Dhawan) step in and devise a plan that will make Todd a potential suitor. Overhearing Todd’s feelings for Asha, Madhuri (Anisha Nagarajan) gives him her ticket to a concert so he can surprise her and have a Bollywood ending. Meanwhile, Rajiv (Rizwan Manji) tries to help Gupta (Parvesh Cheena) get over a bad habit.

Unaware of Diwali, the biggest and holiest holiday in India, Todd (Ben Rappaport) is caught off guard when his staffers automatically expect time off. After speaking with his U.S. supervisor Jerry (Matt Walsh), Todd must tell his employees they cannot leave to celebrate, making him unpopular among the workers. Meanwhile, Tonya (Pippa Black) tries to help Todd forget about his feelings for Asha (Rebecca Hazlewood).

Todd (Ben Rappaport) begins feeling pressure from his family to succeed, so he tries to impress them by winning a Black Friday sales competition. Fearing defeat, Todd works his employees extra hard, only to find his efforts thwarted when the power goes out due to a torrential downpour. Meanwhile, Charlie (Diedrich Bader) tries to redeem himself after losing to Manmeet (Sacha Dhawan) and Gupta (Parvesh Cheena) at the Indian version of billiards by challenging them to a game of laser tag.
