   Episode 1

   Fame

   A cop, Nick Carvahal (Michael Hollick), hears noises in the apartment below him and against his pregnant wife’s objections, goes to investigate. It costs him his life when a robber shoots and kills him.

2. Episode 2

   Avatar

   Someone posts a photo of a dead hooker, which leads to a slew of 911 calls. The Internet poster has a scar on her face and when the cops get to the crime scene something is off. The clothes and shoes don't fit the victim.

3. Episode 3

   Home Sweet

   An eight year-old girl walking on the Upper East Side with her mother is killed when a townhouse blows up. The owner is Miles Shaffner (Robert Emmet Lunney), who survives but is very upset that there was collateral damage. The cops quickly determine that faulty wiring caused the blast and they are looking at arson.

4. Episode 5

   Public Service Homicide

   Carl Mullaly (A.J. Handegard) is found stabbed to death in his Upper West Side apartment when a delivery guy arrives with his dinner. Mullaly was “outed" that night by the program "Hard Focus.” The tabloid show was trapping pedophiles by having staff members pose as young girls online.

5. Episode 6

   Profiteer

   Gary Shelton is gunned down as he arrives at his daughter’s $2 million Sweet 16 party. Shelton was the CEO of a company that makes bulletproof vests, and recently anti-war protestors were harassing him. One protestor is arrested, but a witness doesn’t pick him from a lineup, and instead he’s booked for assaulting Cassady (Milena Govich), who held her own against him.

6. Episode 7

   In Vino Veritas

   Two patrolmen pull over a luxury car and the driver, Mitch Carroll (Chevy Chase), is drunk. He is hostile and when the cops ask him to step out of the car, they find him covered in blood. Green (Jesse L. Martin) and Cassady (Milena Govich) are called in and he gets even more belligerent, topping things off with an anti-Semitic tirade.

7. Episode 8

   Release

   Chris Drake (Tim Peper) runs a multi-million dollar company called Babes Being Bad and his trademark is to get young women to expose themselves on camera. He makes a lot of money selling the DVDs.

8. Episode 9

   Deadlock

   Leon Vorgitch (Craig Walker) kills two prison guards with a plastic shiv and escapes, setting off a huge manhunt. He was convicted of killing five people at a burger joint, and sentenced to death, but the sentencing was changed to life in prison when the law changed. Green (Jesse L. Martin) and Cassady (Milena Govich) start by talking to his mother and brother, who both say they haven’t seen him.

9. Episode 10

   Corner Office

   Charles Dillon (David Arden Engel), attorney for Halligan-Webb, is accosted by a throng of reporters asking questions about the company’s big wiretapping scandal. Dillon was to testify before congress in the lawsuit, but that night he is found shot dead in a corporate-owned apartment.

10. Episode 11

    Remains of the Day

    Ashley Jones (Mariel Hemingway) is in the hospital after a tummy tuck, and her 19 year-old son Michael dies suddenly while visiting her in the hospital. He had complained of a headache then collapsed.

11. Episode 12

    Charity Case

    Actress Sofia Archer (Jennifer Beals) and her husband Sean (Josh Casaubon) are out with their two children and the nanny, Mary Calvin (Anna Chlumsky). Sean and adopted son Christopher wait outside while Sofia gets ice cream for their three year-old daughter, and suddenly shots are fired. Sean is killed, but baby Christopher is okay.
